We've now confirmed that the 8th Annual Bath Touch Tournament will be held on 6 August 2011, at Stothert and Pitt RFC on the A4 in Corston, a couple of miles outside Bath towards Bristol.  The tournament is hugely popular with the touch community and should yet again be a great day out for the whole family.

The tournament will again be part of the England Touch Association's National Touch Series, and we're planning on having the traditional hog roast again this year. We also send a Bath team to most other tournaments, and 2011 is no exception!

Registrations are not open yet, but if you're keen, then let us know.
The National Touch Series (NTS) was designed to bring together existing touch events into a co-ordinated series allowing teams to test themselves against the best in the country across numerous competitions. The series takes place throughout the summer months, and teams from all over the country compete in several days of sport.

A team can enter as many NTS events as they like, not necessarily playing in all the series’ events.  After a series of pool games, teams are split into cup, plate and bowl competitions, so there's always something to play for! Some teams stay the night at the host city and party hard, while others head home for a session back home!

The standard of play in the NTS is high, but there are moves to have a Social Touch Series catering for teams who just want to have fun and play some touch.
We still support the competition's original charity, the Royal United Hospital's Forever Friends Appeal (1058323). We've supported this charity every year so far at our annual national touch tournament, where all of the profit goes to the charity.  So far, each year has raised between £500 and £1,000.
